Queer Travelogue is a leading India-based travel community dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces for LGBTQ+ folks to explore the world. Since 2018, we’ve been curating soulful journeys that go beyond just travel — they’re about healing, connection, and growth.
What started as a simple idea — to build a platform where queer people could feel safe, seen, and celebrated — has now become a movement. Our trips are designed to foster genuine friendships, share lived stories, and create moments of joy, while helping individuals embrace their identity with pride.

We also aim to make a meaningful impact in the lives of local LGBTQ+ folks in smaller towns and rural areas by giving them space to connect, express, and feel accepted — often for the very first time. Our community is about collective healing, visibility, and unapologetic queer joy.
So far, we’ve hosted 50+ trips across India, welcoming 1,500+ travelers, including guests from 10+ countries. We’re also the proud organizers of the Rainbow Mountain Festival, a one-of-a-kind celebration of queerness with workshops, nature, learning, and self-discovery.
At Queer Travelogue, we’re not just building trips — we’re building a future where LGBTQ+ people can travel without fear, love without shame, and live with full authenticity. And we’re just getting started.
To create safe, inclusive, and empowering travel experiences for LGBTQ+ individuals by building a community that celebrates identity, fosters genuine connections, and offers space for healing, exploration, and growth — both personal and collective.
A world where queer people can travel freely, feel deeply seen and celebrated, and build meaningful connections across cultures — turning every journey into a step toward pride, self-acceptance, and social change.

Founder
I grew up in a small village, carrying a truth I couldn’t name. In a place where no one spoke about being gay, I learned to survive by hiding. But hiding comes at a cost—and mine was joy.
In 2015, I left for college, hoping for freedom. What I found was a world still divided, but with glimmers of kindness that kept me going. In 2016, I began traveling—not to discover new places, but to escape my pain. Over time, travel became my therapy, teaching me that acceptance exists in unexpected corners of the world.
One night, while leading a trek, a traveler stayed back after the bonfire. He told me he was gay but had never spoken about it openly. We exchanged our stories, and before leaving, he said softly, “Thank you for listening to me.” That moment was a turning point. I saw that travel could be more than adventure — it could be a sanctuary. A space where people like us could breathe, speak, and simply be.
That spark became Queer Travelogue. What began as my escape has grown into a movement — a safe, joyful space for LGBTQ+ travelers to connect, heal, and celebrate life without fear. On our trips, you can share your truth or keep it close, cry or dance under the stars, be loud or be still. However you choose to show up, you are welcome.
My journey hasn’t been easy, but every challenge carved the path to this work. I’ve learned that when we transform our pain into purpose, we not only heal ourselves—we light the way for others. Queer Travelogue is my way of holding that light high, so no one has to travel alone.
Because hope isn’t just what keeps us alive—it’s what helps us truly live.

Jim Corbett Weekend trip was one of the best trips I have had. Kabir is an amazing organiser and he look into each n every minute details of what his fellow travellers requirements were. Wish if the trip could have been at least a day more. Made not only memories but friends for lifetime. Thank you Queer Travelogue and Kabir for making it memorable.

Wonderful experience. I did my solo travel that too in a queer space to Chakrata and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. It was a short trip and I enjoyed a lot.

Fantastic initiative by Kabir and team to platform a safe, inclusive, and fun space for queer travellers in India. My stay in Chakrata was great— in fact I wish it was longer! Kudos, and I hope to see more trips for LBT people in particular. Also hope other initiatives in India take a page from Queer Travelogue's book and start their own getaways for queer folks

It was a great experience and the trip was very well coordinated. I had lots of fun, and made many good friends on my trip to Chatraka with Queer Travelogue! As a solo traveler still enrolled in college, the experience was worthwhile and it has provided me with a lot of good memories. 🙂

The experience of travelling with queer travelogue felt safe, inclusive and accepting. A special appreciation for the organising team for prioritising consent and comfort.

I don't have any words to describe my experience because everyone have to explore and experience there own journeys with QT. Everyone will gonna have different experience to different places with different peoples. But Kabir is one of the favourite person of my life now. He never left anyone to feel uncomfortable or alone, just been there everytime for everyone. ♥️🤍 Safe and happy place for everyone. 💯

As a solo traveller it was a greatest experience like not for a single minute I felt alone or left out. It was such a delightful meeting new people from diverse background and still behave like one as a community for this I am really thankful to Kabir for making it possible. Kabir's management was best like he coordinated with each & every person about the plan. Managing this much crowd is not easy but Kabir made it look so effortless. Thank you to Queer Travelogue team for all the efforts in making this trip possible I am looking forward to meet you guys again ❤️
