Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Queer Travelogue! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in our trips, events, and activities. By booking with us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Queer Travelogue is a leading India-based LGBTQIA+ travel company creating safe, inclusive, and community-driven travel experiences.

2. Eligibility
  • You must be at least 18 years old to join our trips (unless stated otherwise for specific events).
  • By booking, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in the planned activities.
  • Our spaces are LGBTQIA+ inclusive, but allies are welcome as long as they respect our community guidelines.
3. Booking & Payment
  • All bookings are strictly subject to confirmation of full payments.
  • The person making the reservation is responsible for any damages caused to rooms, camps, furnishings, or fixtures during the trip.
  • No boarding is allowed without a valid Government-approved photo ID.
  • Prices include only what is stated in the itinerary. Any personal expenses are not included.
4. Cancellation & Refunds

By Participant:

  • Cancellations made 30+ days before the trip: Eligible for partial refund (after deducting processing fees).
  • Cancellations within 30 days: Non-refundable unless stated otherwise in the specific trip policy.

By Us:

  • We may cancel or reschedule due to safety, weather, government regulations, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you may receive a full refund or credit towards a future trip.
5. Itinerary Changes & Unforeseen Circumstances
  • Factors such as weather, road conditions, participant fitness levels, or safety concerns may require itinerary changes. We reserve the right to make such adjustments without providing a refund.
  • Any expenses related to unscheduled extensions (e.g., accommodation, meals, phone calls, vehicle repairs) due to events beyond our control such as natural calamities, vehicle breakdowns, or delays will be borne by the participant. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
  • If there are hikes in entrance fees, museum charges, fuel costs, guide charges, or other taxes after booking confirmation due to government policy, these will be charged as extra.
6. Health & Safety
  • You are responsible for your own travel documents (passport, visa, ID proof).
  • Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary needs before the trip.
  • Participation in activities is at your own risk. We recommend travel insurance for your safety.
  • In case of any injuries or illness during the trip/activity, Queer Travelogue and its team will not be held responsible.
7. Code of Conduct

We aim to create safe and respectful spaces. Participants must:

  • Respect all fellow travelers, locals, and staff, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or background.
  • Avoid discriminatory, violent, or harmful behavior.
  • Respect community and personal boundaries – any misbehavior towards fellow travelers or nudity in public spaces will not be tolerated.
  • Smoking is not allowed inside buses during travel.

Queer Travelogue reserves the right to remove any participant from the trip for misconduct without refund.

8. Photography & Media
  • We take group photos during trips and may post them on our social media platforms.
  • If you are not comfortable being photographed or having your image shared, please let us know in advance.
9. Liability
  • Queer Travelogue is not liable for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to belongings.
  • We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by factors beyond our control.
