Meet your co-travelers at the boarding point in Delhi (Akshardham Metro Station, reporting time: 10:30 PM) in the evening and start your overnight journey to Kanatal. This trip is designed as a safe and inclusive space for queer travelers, so get ready to socialize, share stories, and begin this memorable journey of queer travel in India.
We arrive in Kanatal and check into our scenic cottages/ rooms surrounded by nature. After freshening up you’ll have some time to soak in the mountain air.
Later, we head out for a scenic hike to Surkanda Devi Temple, the highest point in the region offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas and valleys below.
By evening, we return to our property to relax.
As night falls, enjoy a cozy bonfire (weather permitting), music, laughter, and meaningful conversations - the true essence of a Queer Travelogue experience.
Dinner will be served at the property followed by an overnight stay.
Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning and enjoy breakfast before checking out.
We then drive to the stunning Tehri Lake, a paradise for adventure seekers. Here, you can indulge in thrilling water activities like jet skiing, banana boat rides, speed boating, and more (self-sponsored).
Surrounded by majestic mountains, Tehri Lake offers breathtaking views - perfect for pictures, bonding, and simply soaking in the beauty of nature.
In the evening, we head towards Rishikesh to witness the sacred Ganga Aarti (if time permits) - a spiritual and calming experience that beautifully balances the adventure of the day. Then we explore local cafes and markets.
Later at night, we begin our return journey to Delhi, carrying memories, friendships, and stories from an unforgettable Queer Travel in India experience.
