At Retreats by Queer Travelogue, we believe healing begins when you feel safe enough to let your guard down. This retreat has been thoughtfully curated for those seeking rest, clarity, meaningful connections and a chance to reconnect with themselves through nature and mindful experiences.

Whether you are feeling emotionally exhausted, navigating a life transition or simply looking for a break from the demands of everyday life, this retreat offers the space to pause, breathe and begin again.

Through guided wellness sessions, nourishing vegetarian meals, time in nature, heartfelt conversations and a supportive queer community, you’ll discover that sometimes the greatest transformation comes from slowing down.

Wellness Experiences

Yoga – Start each morning with gentle yoga designed to awaken the body, improve flexibility and release built up tension. These sessions help you slow down, become more present and begin each day with intention.

Meditation – Our guided meditation sessions create moments of stillness, helping you quiet the mind, reduce stress and reconnect with your inner self while surrounded by the calming beauty of nature.

Sound Bath Healing – Allow the soothing vibrations of singing bowls and therapeutic instruments to guide you into deep relaxation. Sound Bath Healing helps calm the nervous system, ease mental fatigue and create space for emotional restoration.

Ecstatic Dance – There are no steps to follow and no expectations to meet. Through free movement and music, you’ll reconnect with your body, release stored emotions and experience the freedom of expressing yourself in a safe and affirming environment.

Guided Journaling – Take time to slow down and listen to yourself. Thoughtfully curated journaling prompts will help you reflect on your experiences, gain clarity, practice gratitude and reconnect with the person you are becoming.

Mud Bath – Reconnect with nature through the grounding experience of a natural mud bath. Feel the earth against your skin as you slow down, embrace the present moment and enjoy a playful, refreshing experience that encourages relaxation and a deeper connection with nature.

Cold Dip in the Ganga – Step into the refreshing waters of the sacred Ganga for a mindful cold-water immersion. Guided by your breath and awareness, this experience invites you to embrace the present moment, awaken your senses and explore your inner resilience while surrounded by the peaceful beauty of Rishikesh. Participation is optional and subject to safe river conditions.

At the heart of this retreat is a simple intention:

To help you rest from the constant demands of life, reset your mind and body through mindful practices and reconnect with yourself, nature and a community that welcomes you exactly as you are.

Wake up to the sounds of nature and begin your day with Yoga and Guided Meditation (guests are requested to bring their own yoga mat for the retreat). This mindful practice helps calm the mind, ground the body and prepare you for a day of self discovery.

After breakfast, we'll head to the banks of the beautiful River Ganga for a Mud Bath Session, reconnecting with nature through the grounding touch of earth. We'll then spend 30 minutes relaxing by the riverside under the warmth of the sun, followed by a refreshing Cold Dip in the Ganga, allowing you to awaken your senses and embrace the present moment.

After lunch and some time to rest, we'll come together for a Guided Journaling Workshop. Through thoughtful prompts and gentle guidance, you'll reflect on your thoughts, emotions and experiences, creating space for greater self awareness and clarity.

The day concludes with dinner and a peaceful Starry Night, reminding us that healing also happens through stillness and shared presence.

Begin your morning with a Guided Free Movement Session, allowing your body to move naturally without judgment and reconnect with yourself through mindful movement.

Later, post breakfast experience our deeply relaxing Sound Bath Healing Workshop, where calming vibrations help quiet the mind, restore emotional balance and create space for inner healing.

In the late afternoon post lunch, we'll gather for a Self Reflection and Journaling Workshop. Through guided prompts, you'll reflect on what you've been holding onto before the retreat, honour your personal growth, let go of what no longer serves you and set intentions for the journey ahead.

As the sun sets, we'll come together for one of the most transformative experiences of the retreat, our Ecstatic Dance Ceremony. Through music and movement, you'll have the freedom to express yourself, release emotions and celebrate your authentic self in a safe and supportive community.

We'll end the day with dinner, gratitude and heartfelt conversations.

Meet The Artists

Queer Retreat FacilitatorKabir is the founder of Queer Travelogue, built on his belief that queer people deserve spaces where they can travel, connect, express themselves and simply be who they are. Through Retreats by Queer Travelogue, he is taking this vision further by creating experiences centred around self-reflection, emotional expression and meaningful connection.

For Kabir, journaling is more than putting thoughts on paper. It is a way to slow down, bring scattered thoughts into one place and understand what is happening within. Through guided prompts and reflection, his journaling session will encourage participants to explore their emotions, recognise what they may be holding onto and find a little more clarity within themselves.

Kabir will also facilitate the Ecstatic Dance Ceremony, rooted in his belief that not every emotion needs to be understood or expressed through words. Sometimes, the body simply needs the freedom to move. With no choreography, no performance and no judgment, the session will invite participants to follow the music, move intuitively and allow emotions and energy to flow through the body.

Together, both experiences offer two different ways of turning inward, one through words and reflection, the other through music and movement.

Queer Retreat FacilitatorParidhi, popularly known as Whacker Cracker, is a 23-year-old trans woman, dancer and performer who found her connection with movement at the age of 17. Since then, dance has become an important part of how she expresses herself, explores her identity and experiences freedom through her body.

She is also a performer with Superqueens, a drag musical show where she brings together movement, performance and queer expression on stage.

At Retreats by Queer Travelogue, Paridhi will facilitate the Free Movement Workshop, a space where there are no steps to follow and no pressure to perform. Through music and intuitive movement, she’ll encourage participants to let go of judgment, listen to their bodies and explore the freedom of moving exactly as they feel.

For Paridhi, movement is not about getting it right, it’s about giving yourself permission to express, feel and take up space.

Queer Retreat FacilitatorAnal is a passionate sound and music facilitator who has spent over eight years exploring the connection between sound, culture, spirituality and well-being.

Their journey has taken them across diverse traditions, learning from practitioners and collecting instruments, techniques and stories along the way. Bringing together ancient practices and contemporary approaches to sound healing, Anal creates immersive sonic experiences that invite people to slow down, listen deeply and reconnect with themselves.

At Retreats by Queer Travelogue, Anal will guide our Sound Bath Healing experience, creating a space for rest, stillness and deeper connection through sound.
